Fibreglass (FG) doors. £400 a pair!

You read right. £400 a pair in black fibreglass from our friend at racedesgins.

They look and fit as good as a genuine part and weigh nearly 10kg less each. All orginal parts fit perfectly into the new doors with no fuss or modifications. The bump strips are included on the new doors so there is no need to source new ones or transfer old ones.

The hinges are renforced with aluminium flanges inside and multi layer bi-laminating of glass and carbon keep it all in place.

Put aside about 2 hours to remove the old door, transfer the internals and refit the new door complete. So both sides can be done in a good morning or afternoon.

Torsion bars I assume your talking about the S.I.B's that are welded into the door during the manufacture. Im afraid these cant be removed and transfered.

Rears wouldn't be so easy to replace what with them attached to the roof

Make them a little overwide and i'd probably have a set too.

Making wider wings would mean making wider wings, then making moulds of wider wings in order to be able to supply wider wings.
Im sorry i dont have the time or collateral to do another fender project right now.
Wish i could, but im pretty busy at the moment completing the T/Tops, doors(passenger) and rear light kit for the moment. Not to mention the carbon light covers, carbon engine bay side panels and fibreglass boot lid projects.

So much to do so little time.

Remember though - if you fancy being a little different you can easly vent these wings and mesh em in just about any design you want. Would look pretty me 's

Door, wings and bonnet are all FG. None of them are painted and are all straight from the mould. I use a cloth to polish the door a bit but thats all.

The door card uses all of its original poppers and fixings, ill post a pic of that too.
