door cards

Hi
i have just bought some door cards from ebay and they are for a car with wind down windows ,what model of MR2 would these be from ? i thought all MR2s had electric windows?

There's a few mk2's with winders but they're rare.

If they're a different shape from the cards on your doors you've bought mk1 door cards.

The rev1 "poverty spec" Coupe would have had wind up windows perhaps?

It came with no spoiler, no front fog lights and the 3S-FE engine.

IIRC all the MK1s had electric windows. Certainly never seen one with wind down windows anyway.

Wind up windows were certainly available in the US and Japan on the MK1, but all UK cars had electric windows. Pete has a MK1 with windup windows. Wayne used to have one too.

The only MR2 with wind up windows AFAIK is the jap import "G" model, all other MK2s had electric windows.
