Rev 1 or Rev 2??

Hi all
could someone Explain the difference between Rev 1 and 2 please as i will inevitably need to buy parts ,are there certain model years,what model changes were made etc?.

my car has been fitted with later rear lights ,clear font lights, and later wheels so is outwardly different in looks. The car is a 1990 Glimited

Rev 2 had bigger brakes and calipers and improved suspension as well as a different front lip... they're the important modifications.

Suspension was only 'improved' if you were a novice driver ;)

im pretty sure that a 1990 is a rev 1 i think rev2 is late 1991 - late 1993. you would be able to tell from the bits mentioned below if you had 1 to compare it too

Rubbish, they took the suicide element away from it!!

i've got a stock rev1 tubby and had no probelems with suspension set up, even when chasing mk1s down twisty roads.
