Who made up the IMOC TOTB team???

The reason I ask is just because we have a Imoc member who ran a 12.4 1/4 MILE AT YORK and his name isn't on the list TRICKSTER

Would it not make sense to ask this guy to attend he lives 1 hour away from York Drag way

I have it from a good source that he has also fitted a load of new mods custom intake the works.

I may be wrong but I belive everyone just wants to see the Imoc stand out from the crowd.

The team has been selected based upon those who entered last years TOTB and those who have a proven history of not only power but the ability for that power to be used also. It's also worth baring in mind that TOTB is not only a 1/4 mile event, top speed and a handling course are the other two disciplines. The latter, (handling) is where we are focusing our biggest efforts as this is where we can if anywhere make the best showing of ourselves. Realistically we are not able to score in the 1/4mile or top speed, but we may well come away with some point in the handling

We are also not psychic. If a member has a stunning car then they need to let us know! FWIW there is no car in the team this year that will be running less than 400bhp...and a good few of the team are expecting 11s

Have been working on my new house for the past 7 weeks and been to cuba for 2, all the parts are waiting to be assembled, I just havent got round to it, car will be completed at the end of august. Hows yours doing?

Thanks for the heads up, next year I'll pick 10 people based on the numbers here, I guess it doesn't really matter if their car works or that they aren't interested in running in the event.



On a more serious note I tend to post up to the forum with plenty of notice in an attempt to alert people to the event and find out who wants to take part... the early posts usually go by with little interest though:

This year things have been slightly different in that we have a dedicated 'secret' TOTB forum for sorting out the team stuff, I've tried to keep all the public stuff public though.

One car we've entered has 500bhp at the hubs...should be a good one for starter (yes dynoed!!). We do want to give a good representation for the MR2.
