South Wales owners read this

Post by alias »

Hi,

I get the impression that MR2 owners in South Wales either..

a. don't go on the internet much :-k
b. don't go on IMOC
c. have bought the car as a fun thing to do when not styling hair :P .

Either way, there are loads of MR2s I have seen in/around Swansea/South Wales and there is never a meet locally to go to. I must have beeped/waved at 7 or 8 in the last month to get not a single reply. FFS!!!!

So, if any of you fancy meeting up this Sunday afternoon, i.e. tomorrow (looks like mr2 weather to me) or whenever, then PM or reply, and let's see if we can get a South Wales meet going.

Sorry about the location of this, I know it should be in Events, but I reckon only a select few people read that far down, only the most dedicated/interested of readers that is  . Trying to appeal to the masses.

Thanks

Why not go to Pembrey circuit tomorrow afternoon? MR2 challenge race is at 4.15 in the afternoon. I'll be there, no MR2 unfortunately, its in bits at the moment so I'll be in my diesel.

think its mk2's as well, a black one passed me in Llanelli yesterday with race numbers on it, assume it was one of the entrants. Race is at 4.15 I think, I'll be going down there about 1ish, catch the afternoon events.

Just got back from Pembrey. Was a good afternoon, sunny as a sunny thing. Rogue's race hire car won by a country mile! Good race though.

Didn't see any other MR2's there though, apart from on the track.

Cheers.

not a bad afternoon, the 2 mk2's from rogue were by far the quickest, Patrick came 2nd, he was down about 3sec a lap on the first placed car. Think Lauren came in 5th or 6th? Will see if any of the pics I took were any good, if so I'll put them on here tonight.

Hi,
I am looking at going to the pod on Sep 3rd for a RWYB day.
If anyone is interested, we could do a meet and convoy up and make a day of it. Get a welsh shoot out...lol.

i think we all need to decide a place to meet first, then from there we can plan our trip or just meet up for drink and a chat!

What about somewhere that is central-ish, like Bridgend McAthur Glen?

Also, I am going to the pod for a RWYB in a few weeks if anyone is interested in coming? See the thread in Events.
