Why doesnt my horn work??????

Whilst my car is of the road i have been sorting everything out for it to pass its mot when it is back on the road. Before the engine blew my horn was getting quieter and quieter and eventually gave up the ghost. so i went and got 2 more (second hand) ones. I tested they worked on my car before mounting them and they seemed to work fine. I then mounted one and now it doesnt work. When i press the horn on my steering wheel i can hear the relay clicking but nothing comes from the horn. I have tried both horns on the same connector but they arent working.

Does anyone have any suggestions???

hmmm yeah possibly.... where do i check for that????

i think the stock horn is earthed where the horn actually bolts to the chassis.
dont know for sure though as mine had an aftermarket one fitted when i bought the car.
if there is only 1 wire going to the horn then i am right, if there are 2, i dont have a clue where it is. sorry.

quick test jumper cable from the battery earth straight to th horn or body depends on what your wanting to earth
