OK, so whats this all about? well, essentially its the current state of my MR2 Turbo trackday car. Its been 2 years in preparation and now is *almost* complete, I say almost because these things are never really finished!. This page is intended to be a quick list of the current state and my thoughts on some of the mods.

ENGINE : Built by John Noble Motorsports in chesterfield

* CP 8.8:1 Forged Pistons and Rings.
* Balanced and Straightened Bottom End.

* HKS 264 Cams with HKS Vernier Pulleys.
* HKS 1.2mm Metal Headgasket.
* Ported Exhaust Manifold.
* Blitz 850cc Sidefeed Injectors.

* Mobil 1 15w50 Fully Synth Oil Every 3k

CLUTCH / DRIVE: Specs Stage 2 Clutch / TRD Clutch Diff

TURBO : Fensports Garrett GT28 kit, supplied second hand but recondition by Turbo Dyanamics

* Compressor A/R : 0.70
* Compressor Wheel : T04s
* Exhaust A/R : 0.64
* Exhaust Wheel : GT28
* Power Rating : 420bhp
* NOTE : (Andy Ran 465bhp with the 264 Cams).

ECU : Motec M4 Pro, Controlling Boost, Timing and Fuel - Original ECU Removed

* Microprocessor 32 Bit 33 MHz with Time CO Processor
* Maximum RPM >15,000 RPM
* Fuel Accuracy 0.00001 seconds
* Fuel Main Table (3D) 40 RPM sites x 21 Load sites (840 points)
* Fuel End of Injection (3D) 20 RPM sites x 6 Load sites
* Boost Main Table (3D) 20 RPM sites x 10 Throttle sites or 10 Gear sites
* Memory Size 512 KByte
* Logging Rate 1~20 sets / sec

INTERCOOLING : Pace / Rogue Systems Chargecooler with front mount pre rad.

* Rogue Systems Engine Lid Fans (Awesome!@#)
* Chargecooler fits in stock location (Prevents heatsoak)
* Front mount pre rad.
* High Flow pump.
* Totally replaced pipework, inc lagging.
* Intake temps down to ~40 degrees with Hybrid CT26.
* NOTE : Core is restrictive > 1 bar - (360bhp Absolute Max).

With any luck the next time she goes on track my IC problem will be fixed and I can run the turbo at 2 bar instead of 1.2 :)
