Winter tyres

Post by as8133 »

Hi, i wondered if anyone could recommend a set of tyres as mine will be coming up for renewal soon. I know the bridgestone S-03's are recommended but i believe these are somewhat summer tyres. Could do with something with a bit more grip for winter roads?

The SO3s are road tyres and honest will do fine as a winter tyre. It'll be spring soon don't forget!

Another option if you want slightly better wet weather grip are the F1s, though they offer better grip in the dry (though not by loads) the SO3s are better in the dry.

Cheers for the quick response, just another question. How much should i be paying for a rear set of S-03's on seventeen inch rims?
