Someone's been a busy boy ... top effort Mark =D>

For those that don't realise - only the Carbon Fibre part came from the States - Mark had to source further T-bars and replace the workings of the t-bar over onto the Carbon Fibre Panels...

that's right isn't it Mark ? O:)

Looking forward to seeing them on Sunday at the Rolling Road :thumright:

ps. does this now mean you keep your t-bar insert blinds out? - does it let any light through the weave ? - must be cool ! 8)

He'd have to. There's no where to attach the circular clip of the sun blind onto, so it would keep on falling down and slapping him on the head. :D

Mark how much did the blinds cost and are they a good fit. What's the wind noise like, any difference over the glass?

thats correct Frank, had all 4 top's sitting at my house since Late January - while we had the hassle of getting the old t-tops apart & new one's fitted - We spent most of yesterday getting the new panels bonded on & refitting all the parts from the spare t-tops.

gonna have to put mine on now & take some pics

To answer the questions, the fit is fantastic with no wind noise at all and no the blinds don't go back in, we could have had the circular bit bonded on too though, but i'd rather be able to see where my money has gone from inside the car.

Frank the bubble wrap is just the packaging mate, nothing more. #-o

The cost in total with shipping, duty and the cost of a spare set of t-bars to destroy was £405 (though you won't get them at this price anymore as it was a group buy price only). not quite sure on the weight difference really yet, but they are supossed to save 4lbs on each panel.

Very very happy with them. 8)

Mark,

did you do this yourself in the end, or did you take it to a glass shop? Which adhesive did you use?

I've still yet to get mine in :)
