I think Picman hates Supras - 2 pics at Donington and 15 at Elvington, and I was out on track loads, his camera must be too slow to catch me :(

Oh and one of the 15 is this... why would I want a pic of an XR2?

Image

Oh well, £30 to pay for the one pic I like I guess ;)

What's the setup with them these days? Do they employ local photographers to go out and take the pics rather than doing it themselves?

Some of the shots are an absolute joke and as Rowland has shown above they seem to pad out the album with shots where your car is hidden behind something else.

Some cars seem to get loads of pics (30+) and others hardly any - take Neil Johnson as an example here, he was in the pits for most of the day yet still managed more pics than me!

They need to introduce a reduced rate for people who get less than 20 shots IMO - £2 per picture when 50% of them are the same shot anyway is a bit much but I'll end up buying it for one or two decent ones that I want to get blown up.

It's not so much a gripe that needs raising with anyone, just a whinge ;)

It's a lottery to be on the track when he's not shifting locations and to be in the shot when he's ready to snap, I just seem to get it wrong.

I guess there is a certain amount of luck involved with being on track at the right time. I've always had great results with picman.

I think his business has grown a lot and Gary doesn't tend to come to Elv much anymore. I must admit he does tend to do the best pics.

It is a difficult one.
