Depends if you give a xxxx about other road users!!!!

I do :D , and so I use Silverstar 55/60W headlight bulbs which are excellent when in main beam, and pretty good in dipped beam. They give a brilliant white light which I prefer to the xxxx annoying blue xxxx!!

If you want super brightness, PIAA bulbs are meant to be the bo11ocks, not sure if they are completely road legal though - if you're bothered?

No doubt someone will confirm.......

Beware of some sellers on ebay claiming 100% extra brightness etc as I bought some xenon gas halogens which were supposedly brighter than my silverstars but it turned out that they were no way near as good!

Just replaced my standard bulbs with the halford's one.

Very nice :)

I've always thought the standard bulbs weren't very bright, these ones are a bargin on 2 for 1.

Yep, I put a set of 50% Brighter Halfords bulbs in my '2 and they're a little better than the 30% brighter bulbs that were in there before - but they're much much better than standard bulbs.

Well worth swapping them over at this time of year IMO.

Put in a set of the Halfords Xenons. At that price you cant really go wrong. First impressions -
Slightly brighter than standard bulbs, not sure about 50% brighter though..
Yellow/white light seemingly the same colour temp as a standard bulb

Not tried them total darkness yet so not sure how well they actually perform for visibility and detail... CHeers!
