Insuring a car with a roll cage - who?

Post by Bender Unit »

Does anyone know who insures cars with roll cages?

Who has a roll caged car that is insured?

Cheers

Is your car an everyday car ? Or could you use a limited mileage policy ?

Well its going to be a classic so probably not an everyday car, I have the option of a 106 shed for the daily hack.

In which case, I'm with AON and I think it's their classic roadster policy. Mods declared include a roll cage, although it's actually a Pheonix Power chassis strengthening kit for the T-bar.

Might be worth giving them a call, they've been pretty good for me.

We can supply you with a roll cage. It'll be competition spec though... We're just about to have some made up for our remaining race cars that don't yet have them.

Contact me for prices and details. Failing that I'll post firm prices and pictures up once the jig has been made and everything is sorted.

They wanted 900 Fc for a 1.6 130bhp AE86! I pay 800 for my Mr2 with all mods listed! Criminal.
