It was part of the IMOC Banzai Article I arranged and gave me plenty of joy :)

I sold the car in May / June 2003 and bought a sensible family car with an automatic gearbox and back seats.

I'm rubbish with names but a chap from the old IMOC site still has it, not sure if he's made it here yet.

A photo of when the old and new cars met for the first and only time:

A sad moment! :(

I always liked that MR2 of yours, Mr C, and had my eye on it for a long time before you sold it. Actually one of the reasons why I sold my old white UK N/A and bought my black GT-S.

ur rite Mr C i still have it :D

Not using it too much at mo due to cr@p weather and needing new brakes on rear, pad seized in and scored disc at same time. . . lovely :x

i was in the proccess ov sourcing new disc and pad combo on old site before it went to the other side, think new sites lookin great tho, well done to all involved.

No doubt our paths will cross again when the sun comes out to play 8)

Yey :)

Hello again!!

It's like that program Cilla used to do where she brought relatives over from Australia to make them cry

Shame about the rears, could probably do with the calipers rebuilding or some nice new ones, I did them a while back but it was only a case of stripping, cleaning and putting back together. Just checking through my files, looks like I did the pads Nov 2002, then again with disks and a rebuild a week or two before I sold because it was binding like a bu88er, for some reason it took a while for me to upload the photos though.

(Good old Brakes International disks, I forget which pads I put on though.... EBCs maybe?)

hi again michael

your dead rite with the pads, EBC green stuff, are they original rev 1 set up cos i no you upgraded the fronts to later spec.

ive heard that black diamond do some good discs, and pads from fensport seemto get a good write up so will av to look at prices etc.

im considerin a bit ov the old jiggery pokery in the engine department over these next few cold months and would very much like brakes that can stop me fairly sharpish if ever i haveto call on them :o got a few little mods in mind and want to crack that 350 mark :D

Good evening James :)

Yeah just rev 1 rears I'm afraid, I never got around to upgrading that end :(

Nice to hear the engine is getting some attention, I kept telling it I'd treat it to all kinds of stuff but then took the wrong choice and sold. What do you have planned?

not too sure on a final spec but i think to get this kinda power i'll be needing:
*new ic - greedy or might even look at a custom built jobbie
*new pistons - je forged
*cams - heard that rev 1 can benefit from rev 3 cams if this is not the case will go to hks items
*new head gasket 1.4-1.6 mm trd or hks
*800 - 850cc injectors with uprated rail
*uprated pump
*management - not a cluewith this one open to all offers in this area :?
*TURBO :D - something not too laggy GT25 should see th kind ov power imafter or maybe a seriously fettled bolt on item

any feedback or suggestions would be much appreciated - just off to sell the odd limb or two to finance this little lot
