Availability of 3sgte OEM Main Bearings

Post by Ja99a »

Been a while, i'm now knee deep in the engine build and trying to source main bearings for the 3sgte, Listers say the fractional mains that you used to be able to get are now discontinued so what do you do if you want fractional mains bearings.

When I say fractional I mean the main bearings that used to be available from Toyota that were given a NUMBER 1,2,3,4,5 that were used to get a better tolerance on the crank.
See pic of the bgb

I have ACL duraglide mains that I have used to plastigauge and get a clearnce between the crank, and I have a couple that ideally need to be slightly larger, meaning I'd buy the 4, 5 numbered bearings.

The question, where can I source these OEM bearing sizes?

Hi,

Did you check amayama and toyotapartsdeal.com?

I quickly checked for mark 4, available on both websites.

Let us know.
