Mk2 [Turbo] Drooping screen sun visors. Possible fix ?

Post by MR22 »

The sun visors on my T-Bar are drooping about 45mms from the headlining to the rear of the visor. The resistance between the chrome bar and the inside of the visor has all but gone.
I do not understand how this resistance is achieved so any ideas on how to return them to near original would be much appreciated.
I'm trying to avoid all the string and rubber band methods !
Many thanks.
