[Mk2] [NA] Torque app

Post by MRV6 »

Been having a bit play around with the torque app. Thanks to Paula Woods for planting the seed and helping me. Basically there's a blue tooth dongle that pics up the info from the ecu and displays it, in this case on my samsung tablet.
There's various settings, choice of dials, graphs, info, fault cods and data logging.

You will have to click on the first two links for video.

Useful where supported, but I think it only works with OBDII compatible ECU's?

Terribly sorry got a bit exited. Was messing around with the app with the car in the garage. There's a fair few apps not relevant to my set up.

+ the bluetooth reader. The communication protocol it uses is very slow though, update rate is barely once per second,, and the range of data you can see is pretty limited.
