How to make the car less crashy??

I mean it's not like you can buy the oem bushings anymore, or at least I don't think anyones bothered to try.

I kinda wish I'd bought the full TRD bush kit for these cars when it was still available.

Most if not all of them are available, but not as a separate part. They come preinstalled into the arms.

I'm just thinking how much toyota will try to charge me for a new suspension arm.

I wonder if they make new uprights still, or if you can buy em.

I bet you'd get xxxx all change from a grand just for the control arms and tension rods...

The bolt for the rear arm cost me £12 from toyota. Prices for things seem to be rather mental just now. My bushes could deffo do with replacing

100% I wouldn't go back. It's the poly bushed engine mounts that cause rattling and drone in the cab which I personally wouldn't be interested in.

When polybushing order the type you want. I believe 3 different hardnesses are available from various manufacturers.

No I was talking about the suspension bushes. Is this a link to them? Not sure exactly what I should be ordering.

Absolute Nonsense!! I had black bilsteins when got the car,so one of the shocks start to leak.. have to replace both front. Some parts has been discontinued by Toyota so just bought standard Toyota shocks which was paired with APEXI springs for the front only... car is on the rails. I didn't any problems..and I don't drive like granny... even in the WET!

When I say "crashy" I don't mean crashing into a wall. I mean harshness on the road. Invaluable input though

The oem shock and springs are ok on uk roads as a daily driver.

What does make them worse is tired shocks and mis-matched tyres on oem wheels or not enough tread left on the tyres in the rain even if they are still road legal.

If it has the original shocks, put new shocks on it.

Dont mix tyre brand/model front to rear.
Even if you put Toyo T1R on all 4 corners on stock 15 wheels it will be very driveable on uk roads.

What tyres are you using and tread depth?

Once the rears get down to 3mm it will get a lot more slidey in the wet.

Other than that, drive smoother lol
