My oil pans dripping oil, i imagine i disturbed the existing seal when putting the engine on/off the engine dolly i used during removal/re-installation.
Whats the best method for sealing the pan? im planning on dropping the oil, removing the pan and re-sealing it.
I know some people use OEM gaskets, and some use sealants.
Thanks
Ross

Hhaah ok. I wasn't 100% sure.
Been recommended this:

Presume this will do the trick? Plan to scrape old gasket off. Clean up mating surface with carb cleaner. Then apply the above loctite. Good thing about my car is it's not in use at the moment. So can let the sealant dry fully.

the OEM gasket IS a liquid gasket. I like the Locktite stuff.
