Hi all,

The first meeting point is here just like last year.

The New Forest Centre
SO43 7NY Lyndhurst, Hampshire

It's the car park in the centre of Lyndhurst.

We shall be there from 7:45 and aim to leave by 8:15.

I shall try my best to be there on time however 4 years in a row I've failed at this.

See you then.

I shall print off some IMOC posters for your car.
If you don't purchase online then you can pay on the gate which I shall be doing seen as last year due to technical issues I ended up paying 3 times lol.

Any questions then let me know.

Message from Simply Jap.

My email is [email protected] for the clubstand poster. Drop me a message and I'll send it across.

Thanks

Good Afternoon,

Please find attached your club sign to be printed and put in the windscreen of your vehicle, please send this on to all members attending as this sign is to help marshals direct members to the correct area.

Please note that this is not the entrance ticket and purely a signage label.

Tickets can be purchased on our website, over the phone (there is a £1 handling fee for phone bookings), or on the day – however ticket prices do increase on the day of the event.

Entry is from 8am, please do not arrive before this time as you will be turned away, all club members must arrive by 3pm. You are free to leave the event anytime throughout the day after 11am, however there will be no re-entry once the vehicle has departed.

There will be two entrances as this is a very busy event, please follow signage, the club does not need to arrive in convoy as they will be directed to the clubs reserved area - so do use both entrances.

Please pass on to all your members to leave Beaulieu in a sensible fashion; there are animals and pedestrians that we need to keep safe. If unruly behaviour and exiting happens at the event then this will jeopardise repetition of the event occurring in the future. So please do take this request seriously.

No sadly weather isn't looking to great. I'll still be going as it's still a day out.

Several others who have paid upfront for their tickets will be still going too.

Kind regards,

Tony

Not altogether sure I fancy a day out which consists of a 125 mile trek, with it likely raining the whole way. And then wandering around all day holding an umbrella. 8-[
I'll defer my decision until tomorrow morning. If I'm not at Lyndhurst by 08.15 you'll know what it was. :)
I can live with sacrificing the £12 I have already paid. The other side of the coin will be I have saved two thirds of a tank of fuel. :|

That's fair enough mate.

I'm going because if I don't I'll not only miss out on a car day but I have said no to working tomorrow too so lost out on £300 so whatever the weather, I'm going lol

Thanks for organising again this year Tony
Not too bad a turn out for a very cold and wet day ,
Good to see some old and new faces lets hope the
Sun shines next year as it did last.
Well done to everyone who did make the effort today
I did feel sorry for beaulieu though that a lot of people bottled it
must have cost them a fortune, with all the extra staff etc :(

You're very welcome pal. Was great to see you again.

Thank you all again for coming to Beaulieu. I know the weather was rubbish unlike previous years but we braved it and still showed the rest of the Japanese car enthusiasts that the MR2 scene is strong.

For the weather I thought the turn out was brilliant. Hopefully next year we get some better weather.

The next event is Forge at Castle Combe. Speak to either myself or Mark Davis if you're interested as the stand is filling now and limited spaces

Many thanks

Good to catch up again mate. :thumleft:

Put my jacket in the passenger footwell and turned the heater on full blast.
After a couple of minutes a cloud of water vapour started rising and I had to open the window to let it out!

Atm I have to be up at the crack of dawn on the Sunday 9th. Two days in a row is a bit much, so not sure about Forge yet.
Will defer which way to jump until after next weekend.
