Left out of this thread was was after the rack was fitted I drove off made a right turn out of the ind est and continued to turn right because steering
Would not self center at all (nearly crashed car), went straight back to be told if the rack was sent back and not found to be faulty they would charge £250
And he was not going to pay that, then surgested it needed bedding in,which I knew was rubbish!!!
I did loads of miles in it and re lazer tracked £60,no change asked the question in my tread not mentioning any names out of fairness, and got loads of lies and nonsense(read thread) after that what was the point in saying anything, fixed the problem myself new rack paying labour to someone else,I even payed peters labor
Only getting a refund on the recon rack.and acorrding to Peter and friends
I was the bad guy. Sorry again Craig it's about time the truth comes out.

Thanks to pistol pete moving thread

I'll add to this there where many other incidents that I did not challenge and I gave benefit of the doubt over the years that
Had cause for concern, but this was the final straw, also the lies I was
Told which at first seem plausible but unfortunately Peter is also a terrible
At telling lies and would contradict his own lies with different ones.
Subsequently my £6000 engine build will be done by another company

A disappointing update

Post by benjo »

I'm currently having some work done on my car and after
Reading other people's feedback and horror story's ,I ask the garage to check my Car over and it's been discovered that after paying what I've been
Told is over the odds to have car Polly bushed,it's only had a couple of
Polly bushes installed on the rear and some bits of plastic wedged in
The front anti roll bushes. I am extremely disappointed, and will now have to
Pay to have this sorted.

FYI the Polly bush work that wasn't done but charged for was 8 years
Ago,I've never checked as I assume when I pay someone to do something
They will do it,and we know what assumptions do.
As for why it's all coming to light is a lot of people kept quiet because of
Peters sycophant who automatically defend him and make
Decent folk look like idiots,it was only when others said
Something I decided to speak out

Having seen peters reply to a post on oc forum and being one of
The people Peter said he would give the real story about via PM.

I have some very simple questions to ask you Peter I'll even make them so
You can answer yes or no.

1. Are you/do you have proper qualifications as a motor mechanic?
2. Should any steering rack ever need to be bedded in to create enough
Free play to operate as any other vehicle on the road?
3.is completely forgetting to refit a subframe bolt a serious mistake?
4. Is charging a customer labour, parts,VAT on parts that where never
Fitted, either ethical good practice and legal?

Very simple Peter no need for any explanations just yes and no.
If you are not in any way wrong you will have no problem answering

Thanks Scott I would not count on a reply to this just as I'm unlikely
To see the monies charged for parts/Labour/vat charged for parts
That where never fitted,as a business owner myself I'm intrigued to
Know if Peter does intentionally know how he's behaving/doing and
Thinks it's fair practice or is inadequate in a mental capacity.
I work in the construction industry which has similar underhand practices
By traders as the motor trade and can honestly say I would never cheat my customers always make sure I deliver my promises,I would also never stoop to childish name calling, maybe
This is why I Get positive feedback/referrals and constant repeat customers
I will be notifying certain agencies as to the past events.
