Post by simpson_eh »

as per title what do you actually put your poor twos through a year

my years

Odometer reading 83,305 kms
Odometer reading 91,656 kms
Odometer reading 95,534 miles
Odometer reading 99,097 kms
Odometer reading 101,926 miles
Odometer reading 102,447 kms
Odometer reading 102,789 kms
Odometer reading 104,665 kms
Odometer reading 105,948 miles
Odometer reading 108,030 miles

poor girl def aint getting used enough, i was first uk owner think mot stations dont like to stick with kms or miles
If you see an MR2 with a raised engine cover, the bottom line is it's probably faster than your car.

3200ish miles since I bought it In December 2013, averaged over the time I've owned it.. about 1000 miles a year, or 85ish miles a month.

Money well spent?

I haven't really paid too much attention to the miles I've done in my mk1 but I don't think it was much more than 2k miles

Why so sad? high miles per year means you are using it as a car, not an ornament.

4k in 10 years, would you trust those old tyres at speed? I sure as hell wouldn't.

Think I've done about 35k miles in the Corvette in 3 years. Done about 3000 on motorbikes since October.

Only did 7,000 last year in the 'new' rev1…. total now stands at about 59,600 miles from new in '91.

The old white one averaged 10k miles per year for the 17 yrs I owned it and finished on about 244k before departing this world for the scrappy in the sky.

10000 miles over 3 summers. When the weather is good I even use it to go to work a day or 2 a week, beats the horrible sound of modern diesel cars!!
