Hi Guys
I have a few CM of pedal free play / travel , before the pedal engage's
Ive replaced the Pin with a brand new one from Toyota including the clip,
but its done nothing.
It almost seems like the pin doesn't have a big enough diameter to take
up the hole, a difficult video to take with my fixed bucket seats but here
its attached below. Any ideas to sort ?
Or do they all do this ?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Brake Pedal Play
i'd say the bracket the pin fits through is worn. A few cm's of free play? i'd say its about 5mm of free play at the peddle.

I've been known to exaggerate you think its worth trying to get a new bracket or a slightly larger pin and clip ?
suppose it will be trial and error with pins.

new bracket, if it's worn that much the sides of the hole will wear a thicker pin faster than normal.
Seems like that bracket is just bolted on the end of the rod. See if you can get a part number for it.
