Caldina st215 engine q?

Post by MR2Kyle »

Hey folks, for insurance reasons I have to declare my engine swap but I can't find the engine number as it's so tight in there so I was wondering if anyone knows where the number is so I can concentrate in that area ect. Is it just under the inlet manifold?
Thanks folks :thumleft:

Ok, that's weird. Really can't find anything other than Y11* which seems like a part number rather than an engine number.

Nothing stamped on it anywhere. Got the block on a stand so great access but there is nothing.

Hmm well I'm on the Australian caldina forum and they said that they just plug the car into the obd port and it says there somewhere 8-[ so will give that a go too once the cars out again next spring 😁 thanks for looking :thumleft:

At the moment I have the standard auto ecu that was on the caldina the engine came from....and for some reason the engine won't rev over 5800rpm but that is besides the point....hopefully I will find the code in the computer but as you say it's an issue if you don't have the standard ecu! #-o
