TRD LSD

Post by pistol pete »

As Above
I have a TRD LSD in a mr2 mk2 Na gearbox
Used in my sprint car, worked really well
No longer have a mk2 so no use to me
will also fit a ST202 celica

The gearbox itself has a crunchy 3rd gear, so you can either repair the crunch or just remove the diff

Hi

Most na's didn't have a lsd..
Also I think that the stock one is a vkscous type where most have worn out by now and this is a plate type.... It was fantastic on track and really helped the handling

But for finer detail you will have to refer to someone with more knowledge
Cheers

Im down in kent mate..

Youll have to check with someone like peter gidden that it will fit a turbo box..
But yeah its a big improvment.
You can change itmfrom 1.5 to 2 way upon installation too

I'm pretty sure the NA and Turbo LSD's are different

Different part number at least.

I would say most factory Viscous ones will be acting like open diffs by now. I know mine was completely open when I replaced it this year.
