[Mk2] [NA] Sump plug spec?

I need to get a new sump plug and have had a look on eBay but no seller will commit to ensuring the plug advertised will definatly fit my car.

Anyone know the spec of the relevant plug?

I pretty sure its M12x1.5 but wait until someone else confirms. Might be fine pitch but don't think it is.
