Coolant ok?

Hi peeps

is this coolant OK to use in my mr2 turbo 1996?

or should i get the halfords pink stuff?

You'll need 13ltrs of it for a full flush.

I use this coolant, no issues and is cheaper and easier to get hold of than Toyota stuff.

cool would it be ok in a car running about 350 bhp...and they got some huge barrels going cheap in my local shop ;)

I used the same from the same place - though i didnt buy ready mixed. it was way cheaper to buy concentrated and distilled water and make it your self in a bucket. With an online discount i think it all came to less than £20 and that was with a couple of buckets and funnel too!

I did this at the start of the season and my car has been running it since. Got a load left too.

seeing as someone has done a coolant thread, its an ideal opportunity for me to slip one in! :oops:

Is anyone out there running on waterless coolant at the mo?

so a program other night and it showed how much cooler the engine ran using it, i was impressed, looks like a good thing for our engines. :thumleft:
