Just thinking best way to come from Northampton, do the run and then either find a hotel that won't object to me rocking up in the early hours or driving home after feeling pretty knackered

I'll be coming from Milton Keynes so we can travel down together if you like. Easier to do the journey back with a wingman lol

Alternatively you could check into a local Premier Inn or similar? If you check in before the run you'll have your room-key ready so you won't need to worry about checking in in the early hours. Plus it's Friday night, so you probably won't be the only person making noise in the early hours

I have no objection to it. We do try and keep it just MR2, but not going to turn away a member because of circumstances. We are not that rude.

It is about 2.5 hours, given we have a stop in the middle as well.

What I will say is a lot of people when we come back up the A3, instead of turning off to head back to the start point, peel off and carry on straight up and head for home.

I usually get home around 4am...

That depends if Tiamat has still got his straight through 4" system. He has literally offended entire countries with it on earlier trips [-X
