Ticking Noise From Engine

Hi, got a pretty loud highish pitch ticking noise coming from my engine ( 3SGE )
Seems to speed up with the Revs and can be heard from when sitting inside the car with door shut.

It does have poly bushed engine mounts so wondering if this could amplify the effect.

Any Suggestions? Making me feel like scrapping the car if I am honest! Had enough of it lol

I was thinking the tensioner from the cambelt but sounds more like its coming from inside the engine.

could be an exhaust leak??

blown exhaust mani gasket, or the bolts are loose, worth a check.
