I bought my MK1 when I was in my late 40s, with the intention of doing it up. t was a runner but needed some mechanical work and bodywork on the sills and around the arches.
I made a good start before falling quite ill. I was ill for a number of years and the car became neglected. Now I am in my 60s and reasonably well again, I thought of making another start on the car. But sadly, I realise that I am not fit enough to be climbing around under the car anymore. So I need to hook up with someone who can help me with the work (cheaply, I am on a small pension) or with a heavy heart, sell the car on.
If there are any MR2 owners in the NW Norfolk area who would consider giving up a little time to help me, I would love to hear from you. Can't afford to pay much but would keep you fed and watered plus meet any costs of course.
Failing that, the car will have to go.
I think I am getting to old for this !!!!!
