That's awesome, Scott. It's also a beautifully articulated response to the predictable guardianista poo that some of my more, er, metropolitan friends will likely come out with immediately on seeing pictures of me titting about with people dressed as Native Americans

Anyway, I'm very glad Indians are back on because at least I can do a costume that goes with the beard...

Well Scott you are a legend sir, finally common sense backed up by appropriate facts to demonstrate the real and actual truth,

Something I wrote a page or so back, basically the intention is to appreciate their culture by actually understanding it, maybe not in anymeans fully, but enough to have a responsibility to respect it.

I m very lucky to have extensively travelled the USA when I was in my twenties, I met and spoke with several native americans, in South Dakota to Arizona but also to the very depressingly poor in Tijuana.

A very interesting and very unfairly treated people.

Even though I wasn't actually going as a native american, I still felt very strongly about this kind of silly band wagon jumping.

The right decision, made the right way.

Pretty much..

I'm cowboy ish.. but sure someone won't like it :) :)

Yeah that one being me but it's just down to a personal irrational fear.

In mind of the fancy dress upsetting religions, I'm Wiccan, many Halloween outfits offend me greatly ;)

My outfit for this is more Wild West than cowboy or Indian but hopefully will fit in with the theme!!
