Just done rear tracking on my Turbo after rear shock replacement mine were rock solid.

I wire brushed the exposed threads as much as possible so the lock nuts can move down them without picking up all the rust and stuff.

Soaked in GT85 overnight then clamped in vice, got my MAPP gas burner on them and heated them up a bit the 2 locking nuts came undone easy as pie and the centre section also came undone ok

Took all apart wire brushed them and the threads etc shed load of copper grease and put back together, been on car for 22 years so they were like rock solid to start with.

Don't waist time with WD40 as it does not penetrate at all go for the GT85 works a treat and with something as simple as fire (heat) they come undone.

A bit late for you now but worth noting for future.
