[Mk2] [Turbo] Rev 3 turbo oil drain flange question

Post by C35Rob »

I'm installing a non-standard turbo to my car, I'm aware the rev 3+ engine uses a flange with a 90 deg hose stub to join to the metal return pipe via a small rubber hose.

like so.

does anyone know the internal diameter of the standard rubber hose?

or I can buy a flange from KO racing

which looks very much like a T3 turbo oil drain flange with the bolt holes opened up a little..

does anyone have an engine in bits/on a stand who can check the distance between bolt hole centres of the standard flange? as I'd rather not pay $35 plus shipping etc from the states if it's something I can adapt from a £5 turbo drain flange

cheers,

it would appear that I was correct.

T3 oil drain flange and a new Toyota gasket for the OE oil drain flange. 30 seconds with a die grinder will have the holes opened out a touch
