[Mk2] [Turbo] Exhaust blow from manifold to turbo

As above,I don't know if I'm missing something on this one as I have now tightend one nut in particular 3 times out of the four nuts to eliminate the blowing, but after driving for a mile or so the dam thing comes loose again.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be going on with it, both the nuts and threads are okay and they have been tightened well.

Exhaust manifold nuts tend to be one time use as they have a simple locking function - either the rear of the nut is slightly oval or the nut has a groove cut into the rear which compresses during tightening.

Just buy new ones and tighten once.

Yeah they are generic on most toyotas. I got a handful there and then from my dealership

I believe the turbo to manifold are locking type nuts and about £4 each from the dealers

Just get generic ones...don't have to be oem ;-)

Got some coming from a motorcycle suppliers pack of ten for £8.00 :thumleft:
