meh, Just looks like a less impressive version of Forza :(

There really is a market for a game like this with just street type cars in it I reckon :-k

Agree with this completely. How tunable and customisable are cars in rFactor? That seems like the most likely candidate for expanding on that idea :-k

I've been meaning to try rFactor - there's some fairly accurately reproduced MR2s (interiors at least looked really good).

I pre-ordered pCars a few days ago for PC for £20 which i thought was reasonable.

The lack of modding (as in pc mods, custom cars/tracks) is a real let down, and the car list doesn't impress me much either.

If they do a 90s Japanese car pack I'll snap it up 100% tho!

Even the tuning options in Forza can feel limited. There's only 3 bodykits for the mr2 :( I know there can be such a thing as too many options and I guess forza is a track orientated game, I guess somewhere between forza horizion and actual forza (with street cars) would suit me. In fact, the old need for speed (i think need for speed 2) on the PS2? Was about the best tuner type game available but the NFS franchise has become a bit moronic, Anyone remember the old drag racing events on that?? They were amazing!!!

Forza 2 was best for options and tuning but after that they really dumbed it down. It's a shame because if they kept all of that and made it as polished as Forza 4 then it would have been much better :-k

I do like how you can actually tune cars in Forza games as opposed to just chucking parts on - something that they did away with for the Horizon games [-(

I reckon what we're after will only be available as some kind of development of rFactor or something new along those lines that's focussed on tuning and modding.

No all out racing cars, no big money gucci handbag supercars, just no-bullsh17 tuners and plenty of options 8)

Also I noticed for Horizon 2, they did away with even more of the available wheels (there were maybe only 1 or 2 or perhaps even 0 suitable wheels for each car anyway) because they did some kind of sponsorship thing with HRE and thus there's about 193947337 different HRE wheels you can have but almost bu88er all else.

I never even bothered with Forza Horizon 2, I didn;t like the first one very much, I liked the concept of it and it could have been could but the cars just didn't appeal to me, actually, It was more a case of not being able to choose a car and stick with it that bugged me :(

I think I might pick up FH2 eventually because at least it has an MR2, but it's still about £40 at the minute which is far too steep. I did enjoy the F&F expansion thing they released where Ludacris sends you off to race for "pink slips" in Europe

I did actually enjoy expansion thing, A bigger version of that with tuning options would be almost ideal :thumleft:
