Sard MC8 - road car

Post by rtech95 »

SARD MC8
Only road version every made for sale (now sold )
Mystery of where and who it was sold to.
Tons of Carbon on this car . Considering it was built over 20 years ago when carbon was even more expensive.
I saved all the pictures in slideshow below

Wheels and ride height is questionable ... twin turbos would be nice .. very nice car .. I could work with it :thumleft:

More like 25k once it lands over here, which is expensive whatever way you cut it.

It looks like it needs a lot of TLC, and seems a bit agricultural, with an NA 1uz it's not going to be really quick either. Very cool regardless.

The suspension is the really interesting bit, especially at the back. The body work really looks like it was "just" thrown together cos they had to to race the real thing...it would certainly make an interesting restoration/ build project!

Can appreciate the car, but it's a bit of an ugly beast imo. Plus the fitment on that front bumper and front lenses is shocking!

It would be interesting to see the actual suspension layout, but its probably the same mcstruts I guess. It does look realy shonky in lots of places.

Thats pretty neat, it looks like the frunk has been altered quite a bit to fit them in.

Much wider track than normal MR2 (even the TRD I suspect) so I'd expect it would drive completely differently.

Link now empty, I guess it sold!
