JAE 2015 Location announced

Post by LimeyMk1 »

This year we'll be at Newark Showground from the 10th -13th September

http://www.newarkshowground.com/

https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/New ... c4feb35d37

Not as picturesque as Wicksteed and a bit like Peterborough from the map, but it's all about the people & cars. Scenery is a bonus.

Is there any chance of having my club listed alongside as it's a joint stand?

The show got too big for Wicksteed park for one, the planting of trees round the showground reduced the available space such that any further expansion wasn't going to be possible.

I hear there were also some grumbles from the residents surrounding the showground. :-k

Bit too far for me to go this time around, already going to Silverstone for the 30th Anniversary and car hasn't run since last June and still got to put it back together.

Depending if there any consequences going/coming back from Silverstone i'll consider it as it'll probably be my last in my '2.
