I've refitted aircon to the st205
(all stripped out when the car was bought) and had it gassed up. Surprisingly ( !!) its not working, and a bit of help is needed please....When I turn it on the compressor seems to kick in but after about 1-2 seconds the aircon light turns from solid on to flashing and the pump sounds as if the clutch disengages.
The two things that seem as if they could cause this are either no signal from the pump speed sensor or a problem with the pressure switch. The wiring loom checks out OK for continuity and probably the ecu/amplifier systems are unlikely to fail. Does anyone know how I can diagnose this with just a multimeter? Cheers in advance....
