Few pics of my MR2 as it stands

Post by daviefoster9773 »

Few pics I have of the MR2 as it stands. Blittz Nur Spec to follow. Wheels are either going black, or I am going to source Black Rota Grids for it. also have a carbon dipped snorkel scoop to fit. Lexus Lights to remove. And also got myself a touch up pen for the seams on the bumper spats etc.

Let me know what you all think :)

what is DRL's pal? Yeah, I am looking to ahve the lexus lights removed asap. Think the standard red lights will go well with the white :) I love it best car I've had yet.

Daytime Running lights.. the things that you've got in the bumper. I know all modern cars have them but personally think they are silly in the UK and simply not needed only legally required due to the EU making them law all all new cars.

Do like the border bumper as well.. I've always toyed with the idea of getting one.

Looking good man, same opinion on the rear lights, the rear wheels could do with coming out a wee bit, maybe a 15mm spacer, other than that it's looking great man, very very clean!! :thumleft:

Agree with sheppy .. wheels let the car down .. need super low offset for border kit .. and Lexus rear lights =;

Ps. sorry mate for being negative .. car looks so sweet .. just need some bad a*s wheels :thumleft: .. or push them out like sheppy suggested .. 15mm would be nice :thumleft:

Pps .. super clean .. love the look :D

Decat and nur spec,
New rear tyres
Drilled and grooved discs all round
Uprated suspension (think mines standard)
New Wheels

Whats everones views on the snorkel scoops? Ive put mine in to get hydr-dipped in carbon

I used to be right into the toms scoop until a wee while ago my tastes started to change, they ruin the back of the car i think, if there was a better design it would work, they look like a midgets sleeping bag hanging over the roof :(

the bomex ones are a bit nicer but then they look like a bloody spaniels ear...

I love how diplomatic everyone is being :clown:

I don't really like boarder with this colour :( some JDM will sort this car right out.
Um.. pls no scoops you've already got DLR and Lexus lights we don't need a hat trick.

Then again this is your car, who cares what we think

Yea generally, scoops are not to many's taste. Tbh you'll come to your taste the longer you'll have the car. Everyone is different. Do what feels good for ya.

I love deep dish split rims, some don't. See?

It's not so much that they are chavvy it's just that most folk on here get upset about them unless it's a genuine toms with the genuine airbox, basically an item that is so rare it's probably worth more than the car it's attached to!
