Shouldve read a guide first, but have put front strust back on without being aware that the top mount goes a certain way round, and that there's a cut out that should face the rear of the car - http://www.mr2oc.co.uk/jimi/Poohpics/TopOfStrut.jpg
Is it much of an issue if it's not the right way round?
May have put susp on wrong, but does it matter?

Yes, fix it as soon as you can, i done the same by accident and if you lift the car off the ground you will notice the strut has a wider angle unless you want camber

You can generally do it by jacking up one corner at a time and rotating the top mount.
Surprised it doesn't feel very wrong.

If it wasn't much of an issue, it wouldn't have been designed like that. Get it sorted ASAP!

haven't driven car yet
suppose there is a 25% chance they're correct way round!
cheers for the replies, will check it

Concave side of top mount should be to the rear.
Bearing is offset to generate castor angle.

Well, got lucky on one side, other was 180degrees out tho!
Still, wasn't a big deal, didnt even need to remove wheel..
