My ticket arrived, £1.11 short on postage for some reason so I had to go and collect it from the post depot, but at least it is here in good time. :thumleft:

There's a late list on mr2oc forum that mr2jay has started. There's a few names on it already.

My ticket is possibly for sale...my car has been chosen to be on the Adrian Flux stand which comes with a ticket and pass....As long as it drops through the letter box in the next few days.

I'm wondering do I need my stand pass if I already have track time? There is a post on here bout track people not parking with stands etc.

The guy on the other forum guessed at the postage and got it wrong so now we have another £1.11 to pay and arrange redelivery.

#youhadonejob

edit - ok, the RM helped him somewhat

Message to all people who have bought tickets through MR2OC, IMOC or 2 Brutal for Japfest 2015

Here I am - Offering an apology due to the cack handed way that Royal Mail is run in this day and age.

All of the tickets were sent out last week, last Thursday in fact, first class. I had to use I7 envelopes due to the size of the tickets sent out (something I need to address with the organisers). Checked with the post office and purchased the postage advised by the clerk....

As it turns out, I was fed wrong information. Although why it has taken this long for that to be discovered is anyones guess.

So this is me apologising - there will be a surcharge on each and every ticket of 11p plus £1 for a little bit of card that they seem to feel is justified.

If you check at your sorting office, your tickets should be there
frown emoticon

Again - I'm sorry

The card from the PO says to allow 5 working days from when they receive payment so unless you collect in person there's a very good chance they won't arrive in time.

My sorting office is 10 miles away... which is nice

I'd pop down to the local sorting office. I did today and they said it was there and that they put a card through my door. No card....but at least I know its there so can collect.

You had a friendly postman! I had to pay the 1.11 and go out my way to collect. I went in to the post office last year and they gave correct postage all was fine. Sounds as though Jay has had bad luck with the post office clerk giving him incorrect info? Last time this happened two years ago and I couldnt get my ticket in time as I was working in Wales. So annoying when things like this happen. I know it is only 1.11 but it is the inconvenience more than anything.

Hi mate. I have asked over on the OC. I have also mentioned that if this is a balls up by the post office, they should really refund the extra postage. I know this is only £1.11, but over fifty odd people they will have taken a few quid, why should they get away with that? Annoying really.

See what happens anyway but fingers crossed everybody gets tickets in time.

I received a grey and white card through the post today, stating that my ticket is at my local post office and I can collect if I pay the £1.11. If you guys haven't received a slip yet, I'd expect it'll be with you early next week :thumleft:

Got mine thanks also had to pay £1.11 as it was a large letter apparently and no large letter stamp used haha. I don't gry Royal Mail either but hey ho I knew everyone else would have the same problem.

I still have the issue of no clutch in my mr2 and also now no mot I thought I would have it sorted by now. What about if we disguise the civic boxed in by mr2's? Even if i could get the clutch sorted it needs mot and that too don't think I can get in sorted in 1 week but really want to come!
