So do I, I'm bringing my brother in law who hasn't driven a RWD for a while and never done a trackday. Christening by fire :thumleft:

Well, the weather forecast over the last week has basically said pretty much every combination of sun, rain, cloud possible! I'm kind of anticipating it will be a bit wet, hopefully drying off as the day goes along.

I'm also running Federal RSR's... not exactly wet weather tyres :pale:

It'll be fun whatever happens  Just wish I had more room so I could fit my full waterproofs in, I'll still grab a lap or two if you don't mind the ballast

Course not mate! I'll be getting as many laps in as possible, last outing for the car this year and I only live 20 mins away if something breaks! Always got Pete's low-loader to fall back on if necessary

Yep, excellent day, good to be able to try both wet and dry track on the same day! Really bonded with the little westie as well, the geo work really brought it to life on track. Apologies to those who had slightly hairy passenger laps

I'll check for photos over the next couple of days.

Have to say it, What could have been a really sh1tty day turned out to be brilliant. Cheers for the passenger rides all, I always enjoy a bit of variety :thumleft:

And the wee mk3 did herself proud. think I'll treat her to a service eventually  Still, no oil drunk so that's a bonus :thumleft:

Oops! Hard to tell from the vid, did you have 2 wheels on the grass?

Gutted I didn't have a cam running, going to have to get a GoPro for next year :(

I don't think I was on the grass, but the car wasn't level when I braked. The steering wheel moves slightly as the weight begins to sway, I should probably have let off the brakes and missed the apex. Still, a good illustration of road suspension at work.
