I had the issue in which I put the key in the door, unlock it and the alarm goes off, the car then wont start.. I locked the car back up, and unlocked it from the passenger side and it stopped the alarm from going off.
I was told it was the micro locking switch, so having bought a 2nd hand one, and replaced it, its still doing it, I'm still unable to unlock the door from the driver side without the alarm going off and the immobilizer kicking in so I can't start the car..
anybody have any idea what it could be ?
Thanks

Re: Problems with door locking ( immobiliser )
I suspect your problem lies with the microswitch that clips onto the end of the lock barrel or associated wiring.
