Northwest Monthly Meet - September 8

This seemed to work much better as a venue than the Stonecross, in terms of meeting our needs, so the next Northwest Monthly Meet will be at the Stag Hotel in Wigan again. It's not far from the M6/East Lancs junction, so pretty accessible.

The Stag Hotel is a Marston's so it has a good, cheap and comprehensive menu.

It has a large quite car park to the rear in which we'll try to situate ourselves to the rear of to limit the chance of randomers parking between us and ruining our photo ops.

The meet will run from 19:00 to 23:00 on a drop in drop out basis. Turn up when you like for as long as you like. The full pub menu, bar snacks and drinks will be available for those wanting to stay for their evening meal or just relax with a drink and get to know each other.

one day i,ll make one, but i normally don,t finish work till 7.30. mind you this one may be possible as it,s the day after jae. and i,ve got the day off. will try my best to turn up :thumleft:

Would there be interest in doing a NW meet on a Sunday morning? Might give people a bit more time to travel without work interfering.

Just an idea :-)

Yep. We do weekend meets too. Still the same people turning up though :D

I was planning to do another Cars & Coffee meet (Sunday morning) this month, but I just haven't got around to it.

weekend ones may not be a bad idea getting towards this end of the year. You can end up just stood in the dark and cold :thumleft:
