Hi all,
Gutted to have to do this but forced to sell my Turbo to finish renovating the house. I would keep it if there was any other way but needs must.
1992 Turbo T-Bar Rev 2, owned by me last 2 years, previous owner 5 years, cherished by both. Was intended to be kept for a long time and as such it has been only used on good days, only getting the best.
Bodywork is excellent, no scratches or dents, looks great especially in the sun with the roof off! Interior is leather with alcantara door cards in very good condition, no rips or tears or bolster wear.
You will have to look very hard to find a better example, with the bonus of the mods.
Specs
76k on clock - usual mixture of miles and km
MOT Nov 2015, no tax due to new laws
Rev 2 Turbo with lots of Rev 3 parts
Factory look Turbo timer (rare)
Leather seats
Alcantara door cards
Man In Dandism mats
JDM Flare still clipped under pasenger dash

Mods
Blitz Access ECU
Blitz nur spec single exit with decat
Blitz dump valve

<<250 bhp rolling road printout from Well Lane Turbo Centre>>
A good boost controller would yield a healthy bhp increase over this - easily done
17 Team Dynamics Pro Race lightweight alloys - proper staggered fitment (7j front 8j rear) - in factory gloss black (not spray job)
Rear tyres: 245/40/17
Fronts: 215/40/17 Falken (nearly new)
Richbrook leather gearknob / aftermarket steering wheel
Chrome gear surround
Flat style wipers with conversion to standard wiper fitting
Aerial hole smoothed
LPG conversion in frunk in place of spare wheel (needs attention)
ICE
Nice Alpine Double DIN with iPod/USB/CD/Radio
Rockford-Fosgate mids and tweeters with crossovers in doors
£2295

Bad points
Was registered CAT D about 10 years ago. No details but car is very straight so either very minor or top quality repair.
Have not had time to sort a couple of minor issues that have popped up recently:
Sills need touching up, solid as just welded for MOT but not perfect as was going to put side skirts on.
Drivers seat base needs about 2 inches of stitching redone.
All in all a great low mileage car for the money.
Any questions pm or text/ring 07909 808135.
Cheers,
Simon.

No idea why there's a link in with the photos. Will try to sort later.
Re: [FINALIZED] 1992 REV 2 Turbo T-BAR
I can't help but keep coming back to look at this...
With the LPG, is there anything special that makes it suitable for imports or have you just been taking it easy when using it and how easy is it to connect?

Re: [FINALIZED] 1992 REV 2 Turbo T-BAR
I just use the LPG for cruising, slightly more power with petrol anyway so I flick it over when there's fun to be had
Not too sure whether there's anything special about it, was already fitted when the previous owner got it, so not much info. Just know that it gives the best of both worlds!

Re: [FINALIZED] 1992 REV 2 Turbo T-BAR
No interest at all? Price too high? Thought it was reasonable with these miles, but need this gone so am open to offers
Re: [FINALIZED] 1992 REV 2 Turbo T-BAR
Price is quite fair i just bought an rev1 turbo for 2000 and its completly standard with lot of issues so...if i have seen it a week ago then you would have sold it
Re: [FINALIZED] 1992 REV 2 Turbo T-BAR
This is a great car, only selling out of necessity and I'm not goingto let it go cheap. May even end up keeping it at this rate and seling something else.
So for those who have pmd so far, I should have said decent offers, not like half a bag of grapes and a nobbly bobbly.
Any questions or sensible offers let me know.

Bump. Don't want to ebay this, too good to go to someone who doesn't know what to do with it.
Re: [FINALIZED] 1992 REV 2 Turbo T-BAR
nice car, if i was in the market i'd snap this up.
out of interest, what is that button with the turbo pic and 1min/3min on it?
good luck with the sale

It's a turbo timer.
This is the turbo timer which looks very oem and people often mistake for factory item. They weren't actually made by Toyota and were never an option as standard.
It's an aftermarket unit.
Good looking car though.
Re: [FINALIZED] 1992 REV 2 Turbo T-BAR
Where did you get that from mate? Looks brilliant and as you say very OEM
Re: [FINALIZED] 1992 REV 2 Turbo T-BAR
Is this still for sale??? very interested!
Re: [FINALIZED] 1992 REV 2 Turbo T-BAR
Still for sale? Or are you going to break? First dibs on the exhaust
Re: [FINALIZED] 1992 REV 2 Turbo T-BAR
The car will be back up for sale with 12 months MOT next week, with new front disks and pads and a brand new sill.
Like many members on here I am dedicated to keeping as many MR2s alive as possible so will definitely not be breaking.

As long as the buyer has £600+ to spare for a programmable ECU.

yeah as peter says really, the Blitz access cannot be remapped. It comes with a generic map from blitz for bolt on mods, it does however have maps for up to 22lbs of boost, entirely up to yourself if you run that or not, other benefits of it include, fuel cut removed (or raised i'm not sure) speed limiter removed without effecting PAS and rev limit raised.
Re: [FINALIZED] 1992 REV 2 Turbo T-BAR
Cheers guys, have amended the ad. Back up for sale, now with 12 months MOT.

Re: [FINALIZED] 1992 REV 2 Turbo T-BAR
Might be worth noting that i was getting offers of £350+ for the ecu alone. I have infact just sold it for that amount and had loads of interest in it.
Re: [FINALIZED] 1992 REV 2 Turbo T-BAR
Cheers for that, sounds good but no time to go sourcing a replacement, just want the car to go whole to a good home!
