which colour wheel? (pics)

Post by killerferret666 »

I'm stuck....before they came id made my mind set on the matt black, however they could only supply a set in two different colours so need to get some sprayed. Now ive seen both I dont know!

The colour of the car is likely to go with either colour to be honest, I think I should stick to my guns and go for the matt black still. Peoples thoughts / Opinions?

Managed to get the spacers ill need down to a minimum :thumleft: (Pet hate)

I don't like black wheels -- they make the wheel tyre look like a draughts piece. Unless they've a circle of different colour to seperate tyre and wheel.

I'd go for white or even red, myself!

I don't normally like black wheels, especially once it gets dark, in this case they do look sweet :-k

Ordinarily I'd say black but they both look good on a white car.

Fair point fingers but these could be dressed with a red rim protector to add a bit of contrast.

Totally agree, I quite like the grey, black would be my last choice unless they have a polished or different colour edge... great wheels though :D

well I still haven't decided and may get them hydro dipped now in a carbon effect as a place is local and i saw the work and it looks good.

dont think it would suit every wheel but I do think it would suit these.

I like the gunmetal ones, but bronzey, or a darker, charcoal/anthracite colour would also look good. not a fan of black wheels, and also not a fan of white on white. red on white looks great, or other strong colours. it does look a bit lairy there's nothing wrong with that :-)

another vote for anthracite here.
not sure how well hydro dipped parts hold up when exposed to high speed and heat close to the ground with stones etc.?

So the wheels are back, all finished. I did a test fit today so few pics. Look similar to black when in the shade and shine well in the sun.
