Valve Shims

Post by JamesDaniel80 »

Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of sorting the heag gasket on my MK1b and I'm now in need of some new valve shims.

Does anyone know where I would be able to get some?

I know the thickness of the ones I need, but have no idea where to start!

Thanks,

James

I read that MrT wants £10 +VAT per shim James

But fear not, IMOC has a communal bank of used shims, which is currently in the care of Chris (LimeyMk1)

If you read the last few posts on the first sticky thread on here you'll find a lot of helpful info about the bank :)

Fabtastic.

I've put a message on the correct thread now.

Thanks very much.
