[Mk2] [Generic] Poly bushes

Post by Quibble »

Can anyone confirm for me that the bushes in this link will fit my rev 1 na which I am in the process of fitting a rev 3 turbo engine and all the suspension and running gear to, so in essence it will be a rev 3 turbo. Will I use the m12 bolts from the rev 3 in this kit Thanks.

If it were me I would be giving peter at sbits a call for advice and supply as he supplies prothane bushes. So you are likely to get exactly what you need without having to wait for shipping from US and customs handling etc.

Otherwise as far as I know the only difference in the revs bushes would be the anti roll bar bushes

Are the bolts that go through the bushes all the same from rev1 to rev3

I get that the rev1 has a adjustable front tie rods and the rev3 hasn't so that bush is different but Im getting confused with the two sizes of bolt, m12 and m14. Like in this link.

Yep. AFAIK, the prothane kits only fit Rev3 on, so if you're using the Rev3 subframe and suspension, no problem.

But do talk to Peter as poster #2 suggests.

:thumleft: I had a FULL set (F and R) from Peter and they are spot on. Was also the best price I could find by a good few quid.
