Hi Folks.

I'm arranging Milton Keynes Social, formerly the concrete cows..

My plan is keeping it the same as Dave (oddshoes) had so basically we all meet up at around 2:30 at the broughton. Have a chat and poke around some nice 2's have a drink and some food maybe.

Oh well i full plan on doing another the next month.

Weathers looking good now. I won't be in my car as it is still off the road. I doubt i'll have it sorted by then

I'm in! I've nothing booked so I've made a massive note in the diary. I'll be along in the mk1, why won't yours be there? Fitted those BC coilies yet?

Mine is currently in bits. Changing cambelt and water pump. Turbo is out gotta fit all new gaskets to that..

BC's have been cleaned up i'm just in the process of making some covers to go over them.

Ah big jobs then. Will be worth the hassle in the end. I dropped my turbo engine out the shell last weekend. In going to renew everything while it's out before dropping it in the mk1

This used to be such good meet,

We had twenty+ Mr2's once or twice, I miss it

Good luck with re-kindling a great meet which is really well placed to get a lot of members from a good few areas.

So..... My MK1 is officially dead, which unfortunately means a non attendance, as I am now desperately in need of getting at least 1 working car from the selection on my drive, sorry guys

Oh no not good news.. so you've got two 2's on the drive and neither work? thats not great.

I did until this afternoon, the mk2 shell has finally gone to car heaven. I guess it just means I have to start the 1.5 build sooner, I'm not rebuilding the 4age in the mk1 just for summer

Have kept aside some time to get up to this meet in between some DIY work so will definitely be there.

Foz, you can tag along with me if you still want to go. The old girl is a bit clonky and noisy but she'll get us there and back

Thanks for the offer, but if it's a dry day I need to crack on with welding up my vitara, I need to get it back on the road in the next two weeks now, got a lot of welding to get done in that time!

Good meet. Was nice to see you guys there and chat about 2's. Will get another meet sorted for next month. hopefully i'll be further in sorting mine out.
