Seats for both daily and occasional track use?

Post by bluesmoke »

Can anyone recommend anything? I know there are lots and lots of options nowadays, so worth seeing what others are doing.

Has to be adjustable, so no fixed buckets! I want to be able to set the back exactly right for me.

They look like just the job to be honest. Where can these be picked up from?

Might have them from CardHore if I get a car before they're gone. Depends if they are as good?

I've got red ones from a 'teg. Passenger side has part of a Snickers bar mashed into the fabric - totally awesome seats, though.

wtb: pair of recaro sports :(

Just seems searching for "mr2 recaro sports" isn't actually very many cars these days.

What other cars have good seats that go in on the standard rails ?

Only standard seats fit on the standard rails, factory recaros have their own rails.

My recaros are on adapted bride rails.

So you kind of need rails then ?
Are the rails for the cars with recaros from the factory different to the standard seat rails ?

Loving these seats!

So how do you get them to fit the MR2? Are there rails available or do you have to modify the stock ones?

Best to buy some universal sliders and leave your car with a fabricator for an afternoon

I charged £70 to fit a Sparco bucket seat in an EP3 last month, just to give you a rough idea. And it took about 4 hours ](*,)
