Unfortunately it's my only means of transport (no other cars in the household) - and I've tried it by public transport before - it takes HOURS.
You probably even know the area.
I'm in Rotherhithe (200 yards from canada water tube) and I needed to get to the Post office on Mandela way (just near where the old kent road becomes the new kent road).
The engine takes 15 minutes to warm up, so even though most of it was stationary, everything got warm.

This was my journey:

That little bit at the end was getting onto an empty Mandela way. The frustration got too much :)

See y'all saturday :)

Ah Rotherhithe, the only place I have ever been stopped by the police and checked for weapons

I only got off the night bus for a wee.

Ball potentially dropping: are you the guy who had the red V6 mk2 on the Kent Run last year by any chance?

Word of caution - is anyone is travelling along the A6 from the south, you will pass through a village called Milton Ernest just after it goes from dual carriageway to single carriageway. They have the worlds sneakiest average speed cameras there, enforcing the 30mph limit that extends a long way either side of the village itself. I have been driving for 17 years and never once been caught by a camera . . . until now :( They are tiny wireless things that are strapped to the lamp posts apparently!

Interesting - doesn't say what they are. Not SPECS but something new? Very, very sneaky.

EDIT - never mind, i sleuthed it:

We've got more of this xxxx in London now, too.

So my drivers seat now squeaks and hasn't ever before.
The alternator belt (I think) is a bit more noisy and irritating.
The brake warning light has popped on a few times on the way home, but oddly only when accelerating.
Still drives nice and straight so nothing is bent or buckled.
And my right arm aches.

However - the weather was very kind, the company was great and the old lady didn't disgrace herself (even if I did). Very interesting to see how different the three generations are on track.
I have learned that a 2gr can outdrink ollie reid, peter o'toole and georgy best when given some.

Will try and extricate go pro stuff tomorrow - though I've a feeling a lot of it is pointing at the passenger seat and the gearstick.

Hope everyone else got home okay - I'm shattered now..

Gavs.

Ben's SC is indeed very quick.
Rough estimate for the after lunch session. 10mpg. Oops.

Absolutely brilliant day - I was very pleased my car behaved itself. I was struggling a little for grip at the rear until I sorted the tyre pressures out, and then it was brilliant! Such a fun car to chuck about :D

Got a few pics of me and Pete:

And yes, I caught my little 'moment' on camera - sod's law it was the first lap I had the camera running!

This was after my first stint, I was struggling for rear-end traction and was recommended to adjust the tyre pressures to see if it cured it. Turned out I should have adjusted them up, instead of down

Watch til the end (and enjoy the supercharger whine):

Tis a beast of a car you have there! I love how the camera was gently swinging under cornering
